To be based in Guangzhou at our new Technology Centre, our support organization is strongly customer focused and comprised of highly skilled and well-motivated Support Analysts. Your primary job function is to provide Technical Support for databases, platforms, application servers to our customers using Epicor ERP solutions. Our flagship product Epicor 9 is the only mid market ERP solution to be classed as ‘visionary’ by Gartner and Epicor has been in this position for an unrivalled 3 years. Epicor Software currently employs over 4200 staff and is ranked 6th largest global ERP software vendor.
Technical Support Analyst (ERP Software)
China - Guangzhou
Technical Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess at least one of the following:
- Database Administration and Performance Tuning – Preferred on MSSQL, but Oracle, DB2 or large MySQL and postgresql databases also acceptable.
Or
- OpenEdge Progress/Database Administrator (Desired but not essential).
* Experience of Crystal Reports or SSRS is also desired but no essential.
* Prefer candidates also with scripting knowledge in one of vbs, powershell, python, perl.
Desired Experience Level:
- 5 years experience Technical Support experience in a customer focused environment preferably to enterprises in Manufacturing industries.
Personal characteristics:
- Excellent written & reading communication in English.
* Service-oriented with a proven ability to prioritize tasks in a stressful environment.
* The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Willingness to learn and explore new technologies.
* Team Player.
* Goal Oriented.
