Role Summary/Purpose:
Territory Manager is accountable to the Region Manager for achieving territory sales volume, profitability and margin goals. This incumbent is responsible for overseeing the day to day output from the territory including: key account sales and service, , providing a high level of customer service to existing accounts, analyzing the customer base within the territory and identifying potential major sales opportunities. Additional responsibilities include implementing high quality training programs for route sales, providing timely and accurate sales forecasts, identifying trends and opportunities and creating a supportive selling environment with the territory.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Systems Engineering
* 3- 5 years of ERP or systems solutions sales experience.
* Strong closing skills. Prior attendance at formal sales training courses a plus.
* Organizational skills for proper territory planning/management.
* Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and business software market.
* Demonstrated record of achievement in prior sales position.
* Excellent oral, written and telephone skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
