Role Summary/Purpose:
As a Partner Support Product Manager at Epicor you will use your expertise to provide guidance to the Epicor Development Partners during the Development Cycle (from requirements to GA). The main goal is to provide to our partners with exactly the same set of tools, knowledge and resources as if they were an Epicor Internal Development team. The role is also to be considered as instrumental in determining the future strategic product development needs of those same customers and is key in helping the corporation to deliver future products based on radical design concepts.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide superior customer service to Epicor Development partners and other team members
• Guide our Development partners thru the standard Development process to allow them to run their development projects as if they were an internal Epicor Development team.
• Perform analysis and provide feedback of marketing requirement document, functional design, detailed design, entity relation diagrams, data flow diagrams, general processing instructions, testing recommendations, documentation recommendations, system limitations, and miscellaneous other internal documentation.
• Lead team meetings on a weekly basis to discuss product status and review scope and issues of intent
• Investigate, analyze and solve problems reported by Epicor Development Partners
• Proactively tackling issues as they arise.
• Involvement in meetings in order to ascertain short term product requirements
• Definition of requirement split between Base , Customization and Localization for programming responsibility
• Analyzes requirements and clarify scope and breadth of work tasks with Epicor Development Partners and other Epicor Product Managers.
• Determine timeframes and deadlines for product development and release cycle
• Check the Epicor Development Partner work for acceptability and conformance with Epicor standards.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for internal staff, external clients, and prospects.
• Learns and employs knowledge of the business segment targeted by the software application
• Demonstrable ability to drive cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and influence co-workers while fostering strong working relationships
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent business experience.
* Previous work experience in the services or development departments (or comparable experience) preferred.
* Experience working with Epicor 9.05 is a requirement
* Previous Experience in 4 or more modules of ERP system in Manufacturing, Distribution, and Accounting
* Fluent spoken and written English language
* Good verbal communication skills
* Ability to analyze detail design specifications and provide feedback.
* Demonstrated expertise in meeting business needs with technology solutions.
* Basic knowledge of general business practices
* Troubleshooting and analysis skills
* Ability to learn by yourself
* Common Sense
